What is a Garuda?

It represents a powerful and significant symbol of strength, power, courage, speed, and martial prowess. It represents good overcoming evil as a protector. In Southeast Asia, in countries like Indonesia and Thailand, it is revered symbol that signifies royal power, divine protection, and national identity. It is often featured in royal insignia and national emblems. Our martial arts school teaches and embodies those virtures as a part of our school's culture, values, and curriculum.

We are a family-owned and operated gym where everyone is welcome. We offer martial arts classes for beginners, children, and adults. Students can take classes in Judo, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, and Tae Kwon Do. We are official members of the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF), USA Tae Kwon Do, and the United States Judo Federation (USJF). We are also proud to be the home of Kombat Tae Kwon Do Delaware and Team Yamasaki Brazilian Jiu Jitsu trained black belts.

At Garuda Martial Arts, we strive to provide a safe and respectful environment for our students to learn and grow. Our instructors are highly experienced and dedicated to helping our students reach their goals. Our classes are designed for all skill levels, so it's never too late to start!
